Product Overview

The UDI RC Xiphactinus 17" 2S LiPo Battery is a replacement battery designed for the Xiphactinus 17" platform or other compatible platforms featuring a Tamiya connector.

Important Lithium Polymer Safety Information

To ensure safe usage of lithium polymer batteries, please follow these guidelines:

• DO NOT leave a battery in your model when charging.
• DO NOT leave lithium batteries unattended when charging.
• ALWAYS balance charge lithium batteries.
• ALWAYS use a LiPo Safe charging bag/box.
• YOU MUST use a Li-Poly-specific charger to charge lithium batteries (NiMH or NiCD chargers WILL NOT WORK!).
• YOU MUST NOT over-discharge lithium battery packs.
• READ & UNDERSTAND the instructions carefully before operating this battery.

Additional Notes

NOTE: When using high-energy Li-Polymer batteries:

• Avoid over-discharging or over-charging batteries, as this may result in overheating.
• Discharging capacity should not exceed 80% of the maximum capacity after full charging to maintain good cycle performance.
• Fully charge a brand-new battery before using and discharge it only 50% for the first 5 cycles.
• Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on the ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2V per cell).
• Do not use batteries with excessively low voltage.
• Avoid exposing batteries to direct sunlight or storing/charging them in environments above 35°C or inside a closed car.
• High temperatures can damage the battery pack or cause it to burst.
• If the battery becomes hot due to fast charging, high-current discharging, or racing, allow it to cool completely before charging. Wait approximately 20 minutes, then inspect the battery prior to recharging.
