• In 1985, the car was purchased by CNW, renumbered as 420, and named "Fox River" after the beloved river central to CNW's Wisconsin territory.
• After the 1995 Union Pacific-CNW merger, the Fox River joined UP's roster, receiving a comprehensive renovation in 1997 and a fresh paint update in 2006.
