The WOW101 is a universal decoder designed for locomotives with DCC-ready 9-pin plugs or those that cannot accommodate a motherboard or WOWKit. It can be hard-wired or directly plugged into any locomotive with a 9-pin JST plug. This decoder is compatible with any T-Series harness and includes an auxiliary harness for connecting your speaker, CAM, Keep Alive®, and additional lighting functions (F3 and F4).

Important Note:

WOW101 decoders do not have on-board resistors. If you plan to use LED lighting with this product, you must include external resistors.

Speaker Selection:

• Optimized for 8 Ω speakers (not included).

• Audio amplifier can supply up to 2 Watts of power to an 8 Ohm load at maximum volume.

  • Recommendation: Use an 8 Ohm speaker with a minimum power rating of 1 Watt.
  • Important: If using an 8 Ohm speaker rated at 2 Watts or less, reduce the master volume to prevent speaker failure or amplifier stress.
